This week we have been trailing how to use Storyboard-That as a digital learning tool.
We had to create a vocabulary storyboard based on the book The Anzac Puppy.
I chose to create most of my images using cartoon backgrounds and people that Storyboard-That has on it's site.

Maths

This week in math we have been learning about factions. I have been learning improper factions and simplifying fractions. Here is a video of me doing improper factions.

Cricket

This week we went out to cricket  and split into two groups I was with Ben and My friend Lani was with Neal the other cricket coach after we all had worked on our catching and batting. Between  each groups we split into two and played a game of speed cricket. WE WON!!! sorry on photos:(

Maui.

This week we have been learning about persuasive writing.

Maui - A Great Mythical Hero.

Introduction: I believe that Maui is a great mythical hero because.

Reason 1: Firstly, I feel that Maui was a great hero because he has the strength of 50 warriors.

Reason 2: Secondly, I believe Maui was a great hero because he has pulled up the North Island with a hook made of  his grandmother's jawbone.

Reason 3: Finally, Maui was a great leader of his brothers because he is brave, powerful and thinks of others .

Conclusion: I honestly believe Maui was the greatest hero because he was strong brave and powerful.

African Myths

This year we are learning about myths and legends our theme is learn a Myth become a Legend we had to explain  the difference between a myth and legend. I chose an African myths
