Flatback turtles

For writing we have been learning how to write animal reports. Here is one I have written about turtles.

            Flatback turtle
Flatback turtles are reptiles and are endangered.

Appearance:
Flatback turtles have a flat shell which gives its name.  The shell is pale-grayish green. They can grow up to 99cm. Adult flatback turtles can weigh up to 90kg.

Habitat
They are very limited that they are only found in Australia in sandy shallow waters. They can be found sitting and chewing on soft coral reefs.

Reproduction
Flatback turtles meet 4 times per season but sadly some of them do not survive. Flatback turtle eggs are pretty large.

Diet
They love to eat sea cucumbers, mollusks, prawns, bryozoans, other invertebrates and seaweed but most of all they love jellyfish.

Flatback turtles are such amazing animals we should start looking after them.

Pet Day

This is TimTam the Goat.
                              Pet Day
Today was so exciting. The whole school was excited to see who was going to come first. I brought a dolphin made out of banana and berries and I made a mini garden. I won second for my fruit animals and third for my garden.
